Business Change Management 

A major UK Bank required assistance in strengthening the management of a £500 million business change programme. Reporting to the Change Director and the Executive the client decided to use the experience of a qualified consultant to support the programme. The main responsibility was to undertake independent healthchecks and ongoing reviews of the major programmes and projects for a number of business units and provide mentoring support to their programme directors, senior executives and the board.

Pan-European Bespoke CRM 

Undertook a healthcheck of a £30 million programme, based in Madrid, working with Accenture to design and build a multi-channel banking and CRM system for Spain, Portugal and France. Recommended actions to address risks and continue to monitor ongoing progress.

Investment Management 

Carried out a healthcheck of a £20 million programme delivering multi-channel financial planning and point of sale systems for the mass retail, small business and affluent markets. Recommended a review of the overall strategy and development of a roadmap of planned deliveries over time.

International Banking 

Undertook a healthcheck of a £10 million programme launching an Internet banking service for corporate clients. Recommended actions to address issues. Continued to provide mentoring support to the Programme Director and the Executive through to successful delivery. Thereafter, acted as mentor to the Programme Director of a major change programme to restructure off-shore subsidiaries.

Premier Banking 

Provided support to the Change Director during the inception phase of a £50 million business change programme, advising on the programme organisation and assisting with resourcing. Subsequently undertook an independent review of a £20 million component project to launch a new banking service for affluent clients. Agreed actions with the Executive to increase the likelihood of successful delivery.


Undertook a healthcheck of a £3 million programme to improve their Internet offering. Recommended and agreed actions to ensure successful delivery and provided follow-up mentoring support.

Private Bank 

Carry out regular reviews and provide mentoring support to the team delivering a £20million programme to replace core banking and investment administration systems with the Globus package.
